Job summary

Oxford Instruments is hiring a SEO, AEO & GEO Content Executive to support a major website transformation. You will develop and optimise content across the new site, embedding SEO, AEO and GEO principles while collaborating with product managers, marketing and external partners.

The role focuses on creating new website content and aligning existing material with search best practices. Hybrid working model 2–3 days onsite per week, with locations in High Wycombe or Belfast.

Qualifications

• Experience in content marketing, SEO, digital content or related discipline.
• Good working knowledge of SEO principles and applying them to website content.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to simplify technical information for a customer audience.
• Experience creating or optimizing website content, including copy, metadata, summaries and FAQs.

Responsibilities

• In this role, create content for the new Oxford Instruments website, embedding SEO, AEO and GEO principles.
• Translate technical and scientific subject matter into clear, customer-focused digital content.
• Support content audits and opportunities to redevelop or create content.
• Develop and improve page content, metadata, FAQs, summaries and supporting content.
• Help structure website content to support search visibility and AI-powered discovery.
• Support content migration activities to maintain quality and visibility during transition.
• Collaborate with external SEO, digital and website agency partners.
• Advocate SEO, AEO and GEO content best practices internally.
• Create guidance, templates and checklists for stakeholders.
• Review stakeholder-drafted content and recommend improvements to readability and search performance.
• Monitor content performance using analytics and reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing content based on user behaviour and trends.
