Job summary

Cyberlogical, a Reading-based digital engagement agency, seeks a Senior SEO & Website Optimisation Specialist to lead technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and CRO across a client portfolio. You will shape GEO/AI-driven strategies and own performance across landing pages and conversions.

You will use tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), GTM, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and WordPress, collaborating with design and development teams. Hybrid working in Reading with clear path to Head of SEO.

Qualifications

Essential (4+ years experience) delivering technical SEO and page optimisation.
Proven keyword research and on-page optimization skills.
Strong understanding of user journeys and landing page optimisation.
Experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4.
Experience with SEO tools: SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
Comfortable working across multiple CMS platforms, especially WordPress.
Interest in AI/GEO visibility and emerging tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Carry out technical SEO audits and page-level optimisation across client websites.
Identify and resolve crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals issues.
Translate technical findings into clear, prioritised client and internal recommendations.
Perform keyword research to inform content, structure, and optimisation priorities.
Optimize titles, metadata, headings, and internal linking to improve rankings.
Advise on content structure for traditional and AI-generated answers.
Own website performance and CRO, improving key journeys from landing to conversion.
Use tools like Microsoft Clarity to analyse user behaviour and identify friction points.
Collaborate with design/development to implement SEO/CRO/UX changes.
