You will design, develop, maintain and support critical enterprise systems, lead platform optimisations, troubleshoot production issues and mentor engineers while collaborating with infrastructure, security and architecture teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in systems programming within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems, middleware, automation tooling and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex technical problems in mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and support critical enterprise systems and platform services that underpin Global Payments' business operations.
• Lead system enhancements, software upgrades, performance tuning and platform optimisation activities.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, architecture and security teams to deliver resilient, scalable and secure solutions.
• Act as a technical mentor and subject matter expert, driving engineering standards, automation and operational excellence.
