Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Senior zOS Systems Programmer to join our Mainframe Software Team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will design, develop, maintain and support critical enterprise systems, lead platform optimisations, troubleshoot production issues and mentor engineers while collaborating with infrastructure, security and architecture teams to deliver resilient, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Bring

• Extensive experience in systems programming within large-scale enterprise environments.

• Experience supporting highly available production platforms with a focus on reliability and resilience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.

It’s a bonus if you have

• Experience within payments, fintech or other highly regulated industries.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
• Relevant industry certifications and experience with enterprise-scale modernisation initiatives.
