Job Details
Fife Council Community Learning and Development Team are looking for a dynamic Senior Youth Worker for the Junior Youth Club (P4 - 7) held at the Raeburn Centre in Kirkcaldy.
Working as part of a small team of youth workers and volunteers, the Senior Youth Worker would be expected to take on tasks around planning, recording and evaluation of the work, with the Community Education Worker, to ensure the club develops and continues to meet the needs of the young people who attend. Practical tasks also include organising and buying the weekly snack and ensuring that the resources are ordered and maintained.
The youth club operates on a Tuesday, in the evening, 40 weeks per year, during school term times. During school holidays there are daytime excursions offered which you would have the opportunity be involved in part of a wider summer programme.
The post on offer is a permanent postoffered on a salary range of £24,890.91 to £27,087.17 per year pro rata, normal working hours would be 2 hours per week.
