Job description

Business Travel Consultant - Required for this established Travel Management company on a remote basis. Due to continued growth, my client is expanding their team and is looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant/Senior Business Travel Consultant with experience using Galileo. This role involves working on a variety of accounts across different sectors, offering high-level service while booking point-to-point and multi-sector worldwide flights, hotels, and transfers.

The position offers a small shift pattern Monday to Friday between 8:30 am and 5:30 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with a salary up to £32,000 depending on experience, along with quarterly bonuses and benefits. It can be fully home-based, but candidates must be located in Scotland.

Responsibilities include working on corporate accounts, booking worldwide travel arrangements using Galileo, booking flights, hotels, car hire, and rail, providing travel and visa advice, handling changes and cancellations, and performing ticketing functions.

Skills required:

• Experience as a Business Travel Consultant using GDS Galileo
• Excellent knowledge of flights and fares
• Experience with ticketing (preferred)
