Upland Primary School is seeking a Senior Wrap Around Care Assistant to join the team. The role leads the on-site wrap-around hours, coordinating breakfast and after-school provisions for nursery and school-aged children, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment.

You will manage staff, resources, and daily routines, supporting safeguarding and health and safety policies while working closely with the leadership team to maintain high standards of care and enrichment.

Formación

• Experience in a pre-school setting.
• Experience leading wrap-around care is preferable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate the breakfast and after-school provision for nursery and school children.
• Oversee delivery of safe, high-quality wrap around care.
• Prepare and organise resources and equipment for planned activities.
• Assign staff roles and maintain supervision ratios.

• Ensure safeguarding and health and safety policies are followed.

Contract Hours: 17 Hours Per Week - 7.30am-8.45am Monday-Thursday, Friday 7.45am-8.45am AND 3.15pm-6pm Monday-Thursday
Working Weeks: 38 Week Per Year
Grade: BEX 05
Salary: £11,650 Actual (£29,436 FTE)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Wraparound Care Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility, in partnership with our leadership team, for the organisation and delivery of our wrap‑around care service, ensuring a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for all children. As the lead professional on site during wrap‑around hours, you will oversee daily routines, manage staff and maintain high standards of care and enrichment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Nursery Manager with staffing rotas and cover arrangements.
• Ensure that all safeguarding and health and safety policies are followed.

• Has a Level 3 , full and relevant, qualification or higher.
• Enjoys working with children.
• Is kind, patient and enthusiastic.
• Has experience in a pre-school setting.
