Job summary

Upland's Little Explorers, part of Upland Primary School, seeks a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our brand-new term-time preschool opened in 2025. The role is 27.5 hours per week across 38 weeks, Monday to Friday 09:00–15:00, with an actual salary of £18,846 (£29,436 FTE).

You will deliver the EYFS curriculum, observe progress, and contribute to a high-quality learning environment. We value a kind, patient, and enthusiastic approach, experience in a preschool setting, and a full Level

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years Practitioner qualification or higher is required.
• Experience in a preschool setting preferred.
• Warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach with young children.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, responsive care to very young children.
• Undertake personal care tasks.
• Contribute to the development of a high-quality learning environment.
• Implement and deliver the EYFS curriculum.
• Observe and assess children's progress.
• Ensure safeguarding and health and safety policies are followed.
