Job summary

Randstad CPE, partnering with a leading international infrastructure group, seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive on-site highway schemes in East Sussex. You will lead safety, planning, and delivery, ensuring right-first-time results on critical infrastructure projects.

You will supervise site teams and subcontractors, manage RAMS and risk controls, and mentor junior PMs. A strong background in highways, civils, and live public-facing works is essential; SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, and a valid UK

Qualifications

Proven experience supervising site teams or subcontractors in highways, civils, utilities or similar infra environments.
Strong practical knowledge of highways construction including excavation, reinstatement, surfacing, kerbing and drainage.
A solid portfolio of work; chartered in civil engineering or project management is desirable.
Experience in live public highway environments with customer impact and stakeholder confidence.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate highways project works from planning to completion.
Set operatives, gangs, and subcontractors to work safely, reviewing RAMS and controls.
Coordinate labour, plant, materials, traffic management, access and utility interfaces to meet delivery plans.
Lead quality checks, manage hold points and inspection records per drawings/specifications.
Mentor and guide newer project managers on-site.
