Job summary

Kainos seeks a Workday FSI Financials Solution Architect to own the overall finance solution design for financial services and insurance clients. You will translate finance outcomes into design decisions, guiding teams through delivery and shaping opportunities with reference designs and reusable assets.

The role requires substantial Workday Financials expertise, deep knowledge of FDM and accounting, and the ability to collaborate with business sponsors and delivery teams to ensure governance,

Qualifications

• Substantial Workday Financials experience across multiple deployments and go-live or major post-deployment change.
• Deep practical knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and multi-entity or multi-currency setups.
• Experience explaining design decisions to business and IT stakeholders in a finance-driven context.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Financials design, including record to report, COA, and multi-entity considerations.
• Define how Workday Financials, Prism Analytics, and Accounting Center fit with other platforms and data flows.
• Guide delivery from design through testing, cutover and stabilisation with governance across teams.
• Support go-to-market and sales efforts with demonstrations, proposals, and scope assumptions.
• Develop sector reference architectures, validation criteria, and reusable accelerators for the practice.
• Coach junior architects and lead consultants to lift solution quality and consistency.
