Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in the UK is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the Wing Fuel Systems Installation team in Filton, Bristol. You will lead design activities, support global manufacturing and in-service aircraft, and ensure technical governance for wing fuel system designs.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with global customers and suppliers, and development of engineering talent within the team. Occasional travel to UK and transnational manufacturing sites is required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in aerospace design engineering.
• Experience with aircraft fuel systems installation.
• Authorized signatory status or willingness to obtain it.
• Willingness to travel within UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design from concept to modification and optimization.
• Provide in-service and operational support to global sites and programs.
• Act as technical governance signatory for wing fuel system designs and non-conformances.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and broaden airworthiness authorities.
