Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join the Wing Fuel Systems Installation team in the UK. You will lead advanced design activities and interface with global customers and suppliers to shape aircraft fuel system installation.

The role requires extensive aerospace design experience, CATIA V5/V6 proficiency, and readiness to travel to UK and transnational manufacturing sites. A technical authority outlook and mentoring mindset are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive aerospace design engineering experience.
• Mastery of CATIA V5/V6 is essential.
• Experience as technicalApproval/authorisation signatory preferred.
• Willingness to travel within UK and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design from concept to product optimization.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing sites and in-service aircraft.
• Act as Technical Authority for Wing Fuel System designs and non-conformances.
• Mentor and develop future technical signatories within the team.
