Job summary

Falmouth Exeter Plus, on behalf of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, seeks a Wellbeing Practitioner (Mental Health) to join the Wellbeing Team in Cornwall. You will work with students presenting with severe mental health conditions providing assessments and short-term interventions.

The role includes crisis response, liaising with university departments and external services, contributing to group sessions, staff training and development of self-help resources; enhanced DBS check

Qualifications

• Substantial experience completing biopsychosocial mental health assessments and care planning.
• Experience coordinating risk assessment and responding to immediate crisis.
• Experience contributing to service development in a university or health setting.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary university team.
• Commitment to collaborative, compassionate student support.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate response to mental health crisis and coordinate referrals across services.
• Liaise with university departments, external and statutory services to ensure joined-up care.
• Contribute to proactive interventions: staff training, group sessions and self-help resources.
