Job summary

West Calder High School in Scotland is seeking a highly skilled professional to join the Wellbeing, Inclusion and Support Team. The post holder will provide high-quality personalised support to a caseload of pupils, teach within the Wellbeing Curriculum, and contribute to the Wellbeing Collaborative to ensure a high-quality pupil experience.

The role includes leadership, pastoral support, and management activities within the school and across the cluster, with involvement in Extended Leadership

Responsibilities

• Strategic and operational direction of colleagues
• Monitoring and tracking of attendance, behaviour, attainment and achievement
• Liaison with Leadership team colleagues regarding pupil attainment tracking
• Management and development of interventions to support young people with ASN
• Manage the identification, production and review of individual support plans
• Partnership working with parents/carers/external agencies to provide high quality, targeted support of caseload pupils
• Manage Primary/Secondary ASN transition arrangements for caseload
• Whole school leadership responsibilities as required
