Falkirk Council seeks an Advanced level support worker to provide teacher and pupil support, enhancing pupil achievement and contributing to whole school activities, including supervising wellbeing and medical provision.

You will also undertake administrative tasks as required. The role involves 27.5 hours per week during term time, with PVG membership and safety training requirements. The post is temporary until 2 April 2027.

Qualifications

• Good communication and organisational skills are required.
• Experience of working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
• Must undertake PVG scheme membership.
• Training in Manual Handling and First Aid if not already held.

Responsabilités

• Provide teacher and pupil support to enhance pupil achievement.
• Undertake a wide range of whole school support activities and pupil support.
• Cover our medical provision and carry out occasional administrative tasks.
