Job summary

KPJ Group in Stretford is seeking a Welder with at least 5 years’ experience to perform MIG, TIG and stick welding on mild and stainless steel. You will work from drawings, samples or copies and handle pipework and short spools.

The role operates Mon-Thu 7:30am–4pm and Fri 7:30am–3pm, with overtime paid at 1.25x (1.5x at weekends). Benefits include a pension contribution and 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years welding experience.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and stick welding.
• Experience working with mild and stainless steel.
• Ability to read drawings or copies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MIG, TIG and stick welding on mild and stainless steel.
• Work from drawings, samples or copies; produce pipework and short spools.
• Complete bespoke welding and small fabrication work.
• Repair bearing surfaces and associated components as required.
