Job summary

Jark Plc in the Batley area is seeking two experienced welders to perform MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. You will fabricate and repair structural and pipework components and read engineering drawings, both in the workshop and on external sites.

Applicants should be skilled in MIG/TIG welding, able to interpret drawings, and comfortable in industrial environments. Flexibility to work weekends and nights is required to meet busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in MIG/TIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Comfortable working in industrial environments

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
• Fabrication and repair work on structural and pipework components.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Carrying out repairs both in workshop and external locations.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
• Working independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines.
