Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• TIG and MIG welding on aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel
• Fabricate thin-gauge parts and assemblies from sheet, tube, bar and section
• Produce one-off parts, prototypes and production parts from drawings, sketches, samples or verbal instructions
• Make jigs, fixtures and workshop aids to support fabrication and small-batch production
• Cut, form, fit, weld and finish parts to the required dimensions, fit and appearance
• Check your own work and keep the fabrication area clean, safe and organised
