Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment is seeking a Welder Fabricator for a Poole-based role with a salary up to £34,000. You will manufacture sheet metal and fabricated products to drawings, sustain first-time quality, and collaborate with colleagues to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent, strong welding and fabrication experience, the ability to read drawings, and good communication within a structured team environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• Considerable experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture sheet metal and fabricated products to specification and engineering drawings
• Maintain first-time quality and consistent efficiency
• Resolve manufacturing issues quickly with clear communication
• Assist with assembly work as required
