Qualifications

• Welding and fabrication experience in engineering or manufacturing workshop.
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements.
• Competence with basic workshop equipment and safe practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out TIG and MIG welding on aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel.
• Fabricate parts from sheet, tube and bar to drawings and samples.
• Produce parts and assemblies and fit them to spec.
• Create jigs and fixtures to support production.
• Cut, form, fit, weld and finish parts to required standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized workshop.
