Cboe Global Markets in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Web, to develop high‑performance market data applications and web interfaces. You’ll work across front and back ends, ensuring scalability and reliability for millions of requests per day.

The role requires strong Python and JavaScript skills, Django experience, and a passion for code quality, testing, and automation. A hybrid London/remote setup is available with collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent knowledge; 5+ years in high‑performance web sites.
• Strong Python and JavaScript framework experience (Django preferred).
• Experience with Linux/UNIX, HTML5/CSS3, SQL databases and unit testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, extend and maintain web software functionality across full stack.
• Create customer documentation and participate in sprint planning.
• Mentor engineers and conduct peer code reviews; ensure production readiness.
