Job summary

Cboe Europe is seeking a Senior Python Software Engineer to join a small, talented development team in London. You will help build and expand the batch functionality of the largest equities exchange in Europe, delivering reliable Python systems that support trading operations.

You will work across R&D projects, collaborate with global teams, and contribute to production support and post-mortem analyses.

Qualifications

• Solid Python knowledge.
• Commitment to writing testable, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with advanced SQL techniques.
• Strong Linux knowledge.
• Broad knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience with TDD/BDD or other testing methodologies preferred.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Django, Flask or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka and Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with Java.

Responsibilities
