Job summary

Sweco UK is seeking a Senior Planner for the Anglian Water @one Alliance to drive delivery of complex civil engineering projects. You will lead digital planning, maintain robust schedules, and work with delivery teams to align methodologies and outputs.

The role requires five+ years in large-scale civil projects, Primavera P6 expertise, and strong communication. You will attend sites, report progress, manage critical paths, and contribute to health and safety commitments within a hybrid working

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in large-scale projects within the Civil Engineering sector, preferably in the Water Industry.
• Essential experience with P6 (Primavera).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage complex project plans effectively.
• Commitment to health and safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Monitor Plans: Lead collaborative digital planning and production meetings; develop and maintain detailed project plans; liaise with delivery teams; identify opportunities and risks; develop 4D animations; gather progress information and report effects on key dates.
• Communication Of Plans: Attend site regularly to gather program updates; communicate critical paths and activities in meetings; advise on priorities; prepare project-specific reports.
• Quality Of Plans: Maintain planning standards; ensure integrity of project plans; align plans with cost forecasts.
