Job summary

awg, based in Worldwide House, Peterborough, is seeking a motivated Graduate Planner to join the Strategic Pipeline Alliance. This hybrid role offers a chance to work on major potable water transfer projects across East Anglia, delivering real outcomes from day one.

You will support programme planning using Primavera P6 or MS Project, assist with progress monitoring, and help compile reports and lookahead schedules.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or higher in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Interest in project controls, scheduling, or infrastructure delivery.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of detailed project programmes using planning software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project)
• Monitor project progress and help identify risks, delays, or opportunities for improvement
• Work alongside engineers, project managers, and commercial teams to coordinate key milestones
• Support the production of reports, dashboards, and lookahead schedules
• Attend project meetings and contribute to short- and long-term planning activities
• Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards
