Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Leeds seeks a Senior Water Network Modeller to lead delivery of water network modelling across multiple programmes.

You will calibrate hydraulic models using InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWater Pro, and Synergi Water, develop practical solutions with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior modellers to grow the team’s capabilities. Take a leading role in feasibility to investment planning, contributing to network resilience and leakage reduction.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering water network modelling projects within the UK water sector.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard modelling software such as InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWater Pro, Synergi Water or equivalent.
• Experience leading the technical delivery of modelling projects.
• Good understanding of network optimisation, leakage management and pressure management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring or supporting the development of junior engineers or modellers.

Responsibilities

• Leading the technical delivery of water network modelling projects across multiple frameworks.
• Developing, calibrating and analysing hydraulic models using InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWater Pro, Synergi Water or equivalent.
• Delivering studies relating to network optimisation, leakage reduction, pressure management and network resilience.
• Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, Project Managers and clients to develop practical and sustainable engineering solutions.
• Supporting project planning, technical reviews and the delivery of high-quality modelling outputs.
• Mentoring junior modellers and sharing technical knowledge across the wider team.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of modelling processes and digital delivery.
