Job summary

Arcadis UK is seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller to develop hydraulic models for wastewater projects, lead technical delivery, and engage clients to grow Arcadis’s portfolio. The role focuses on tackling flooding, reducing CSO spills, and improving network resilience while complying with UK requirements.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee model QA, and collaborate with designers, GIS specialists, and Project Directors.

Qualifications

Advanced expertise in hydraulic modelling for wastewater infrastructure.
Experience coordinating teams and stakeholders.
Proficient in InfoWorks ICM and GIS.
Chartered membership desirable (ICE or CIWEM).
Proven experience with model QA procedures.

Responsibilities

Deliver wastewater modelling projects and manage tasks of various scales.
Review and verify sewer network models; oversee survey specs and management; develop strategic solutions to mitigate flooding and reduce CSO spills.
Provide design support at concept and detailed design stages.
Review and enhance technical reports and presentations to maintain high-quality standards.
Resolve modelling challenges and contribute to advancing the team’s technical expertise.
Coordinate project elements, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
Mentor junior team members and support bids with narratives and programmes.
