Job summary

Sweco is recruiting for a Senior/Principal Wastewater Modeller (Urban Drainage) to join the Water department in Glasgow. The role offers flexible working with at least three days in the office weekly, and a path to lead a team of modellers on diverse projects.

You will deliver modelling work, mentor junior staff, and guide projects through technical delivery, cost control and schedules while advancing hydraulic modelling capabilities for public and private clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in model build and verification of integrated catchment models using Infoworks ICM.
• Water quality modelling experience is advantageous.
• GIS experience with ArcGIS or MapInfo and Infoworks ICM is essential.
• Mentoring team members and leading urban drainage modelling projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery tasks and engage with clients’ technical teams.
• Provide technical guidance, support and training to junior modellers.
• Develop modelling processes and create innovative modelling tools.
• Work on a range of modelling projects for public and private sector clients.
