Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Wastewater Modeller to join our Water Management team. The role is based from any Arcadis office in England & Wales and involves delivering wastewater modelling projects, reviewing models, and supporting designers from concept through detailed design.

The successful candidate will liaise with the Project Director and client, work with multi-disciplinary teams, and contribute to advancing technical expertise while helping reduce CSO spills and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• Expertise in hydraulic modelling for a range of wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in InfoWorks ICM
• HADES knowledge would be advantageous
• Competent in using GIS software packages
• Working towards being a member of a relevant professional institution (e.g., ICE or CIWEM)
• Experience in model quality assurance procedures
• Advanced abilities in spreadsheet-based data analysis

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure modelling projects.
• Conduct technical reviews of wastewater models and oversee model build and verification of sewer networks.
• Provide support to designers at concept outlines and detailed design stages.
• Resolve technical modelling challenges on projects and help advance the team’s technical expertise.
• Ensure project components comply with relevant standards and requirements.
• Collaborate with specialists from other engineering and environmental disciplines.
• Liaise with the Project Director or Manager and the client to support project progress.
• Support a collaborative work environment and professional development.
