Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Senior Wastewater Engineer / Senior Drainage Engineer to join its Networks and Drainage Solutions team in the UK. The role focuses on wastewater-led infrastructure, including AMP8 projects, with opportunities to work for UK and international clients on sustainable drainage, flood risk mitigation and climate resilience.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to feasibility, design development and technical delivery, and help reduce CSO spills while

Qualifications

• Experience in wastewater, drainage or surface water management.
• Ability to contribute to technical reports, drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to engage with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Experience with regulated water investment programmes, AMP8 projects, wastewater networks or CSO reduction is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to wastewater and surface water management projects from feasibility through to design and delivery.
• Support development of network optioneering, design solutions and technical recommendations.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and specifications.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated water management solutions.
• Contribute to reducing CSO spills and mitigating flood risks.
• Support sustainable, climate-resilient engineering solutions.
• Use digital tools and data-driven approaches to improve methods and efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and stakeholders on practical engineering solutions.
• Contribute to the technical quality and successful delivery of water and infrastructure projects.
