Job summary

Henderson Brown Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a fast-paced food sector environment.

You will coach and develop your team, ensure accurate goods receipt and dispatch, monitor KPIs, control costs, and optimise labour planning while upholding HACCP and health & safety standards.

Working closely with the wider management team, you will drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork across the warehouse.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in warehouse operations.
• Proven track record in delivering KPIs and targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching ability.
• Experience with WMS and labour planning.
• Knowledge of HACCP and health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to meet KPIs and on-time dispatch.
• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and cost control.
• Analyse performance and plan labour requirements.
• Coach and develop the team; drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and hygiene standards.
