A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an Senior Warehouse Operative to join our client’s successful team in Ashford, Staines.

About the role:

As a Senior Warehouse Operator, you will be required to carry out a variety of duties including but not limited to: running additional office reports, basic equipment and building repairs, PAT testing, and racking audits. You will also support and guide less experienced team members. On-site, you will ensure a safe and productive workplace and an efficient operating environment.

The duties may vary depending on workload and shift.

1. Performing stock checks/PI and weekly cycle counts.
2. Liaising with the customer to report findings and conduct stock investigations.
3. Raising, monitoring, and concluding NCRs, on-hold, and quarantine stock.
4. Booking goods in and out.
5. General warehouse office duties when required.
6. Liaising with internal and external customers professionally and courteously.
7. Updating warehouse systems with high accuracy.
8. Ensuring all arriving and dispatched items are recorded properly.
9. Labeling equipment and stock clearly.
10. Maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse and yard.
11. Following loading and unloading procedures.
12. Operating forklift trucks.
13. Undertaking other duties as needed and demonstrating flexibility.
14. Occasionally working at other Rhenus sites as workload requires.

Skills & experience:

• At least 2 years of experience as a warehouse person.
• Commitment to health & safety and environmental standards.
• Experience with warehouse admin and stock control, including perpetual stock checks.
• Counter Balance, Reach Truck, Fork Lift Truck, Powered Pedestrian Truck licenses.
• Good team player with a flexible, can-do attitude.
• Computer literate, able to operate stock control systems.
