Job summary

InPost Ltd. in Coventry is seeking a Senior Supervisor for our flagship Newstrade operation to lead daily warehouse activity, drive performance, and develop high-performing teams.

You will oversee stock control, WMS transactions, shift handovers, and reporting, ensuring safety and service levels while fostering a positive, proactive culture. The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern, 8:00–16:30, with a salary around £38,982 per year and a focus on continuous improvement in a fast-paced logistics

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and stock control processes.
• Track record delivering operational performance targets.
• Sound understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high operational standards across the warehouse, setting the benchmark for performance and professionalism.
• Establish clear objectives for each shift and monitor progress to ensure targets are achieved.
• Lead effective shift handovers, ensuring seamless communication and continuity between teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, accuracy, and space utilisation.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Conduct regular operational audits to ensure compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement.
