Job summary

Gunstones Bakery, part of the Boparan Group, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager in Dronfield to lead the goods-in, storage and dispatch functions. The role is hands-on, with responsibility for 45 staff via six team leaders and a focus on OTIF, stock accuracy and cost performance.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure timely material supply to production and uphold safety and operational excellence in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution management.
• Background in low shelf-life, perishable FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading large teams through first-line managers.
• Track record of improving operational performance, efficiency and stock accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory control and distribution operations.
• Results-driven leader with proactive, accountable approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse operations across Goods In, Storage, Dispatch and Nights.
• Manage a team of 45 through 6 Team Leaders.
• Drive OTIF, stock accuracy, service and cost performance.
• Ensure timely material supply to production and efficient dispatch operations.
• Lead continuous improvement, safety and operational excellence.
