Job summary

Greencore Tamworth is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee a 250-strong warehouse workforce, including 3 shift managers, in a 24/7 operation. You will ensure accurate distribution and compliance with food safety and health standards across shifts.

The role requires strong people management, LEAN experience, and a valid UK driving licence. You will drive improvements, manage rotas, and promote a robust SHE culture across the depot.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people-management experience.
• Experience with food safety compliance.
• Lean and process-improvement knowledge.
• Understanding of voice picking methods.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Strong numeracy and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor operational processes to ensure food safety standards.
• Review rotas to align staff availability with department needs.
• Promote a Safety, Health and Environment culture in the department.
• Plan and manage training for staff according to matrices.
• Control waste to minimise costs.
• Provide leadership to maximise performance and ensure policy adherence.
• Monitor performance trends to identify and implement improvements.
