Job summary

Bidfood Worcester is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead the 24-hour warehouse and unify Day and Night shifts under one structure. You will drive productivity, safety, service and cost performance while shaping the leadership team.

You will use data and KPIs to identify root causes, implement sustainable improvements and develop managers across the site, delivering end-to-end performance improvements in a high-volume foodservice environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing warehouse managers and team managers across Days and Nights.
• Owning warehouse productivity, labour planning, cost control and operational performance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, shift structures, workflow, stock movement and resource utilisation.
• Using data and KPIs to understand root causes rather than simply reacting to daily performance.
• Driving measurable continuous improvement while protecting safety, service and colleague engagement.
• Working closely with Stock, Transport and other depot functions to improve end-to-end performance.
• Building management capability, accountability and succession across the warehouse team.
