Job summary
Cencora is seeking an experienced Operations Support Shift Manager to oversee the Central Logistics Centre in Birmingham. You will support inbound, automation, replenishment, picking, and outbound functions while driving safety, efficiency, and high service levels.
You will lead teams, manage labour plans, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into operational excellence in a regulated, healthcare-focused distribution environment.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in warehouse/logistics environments.
- Experience delivering KPI improvements and service excellence.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proven ability to operate in regulated or healthcare-related logistics.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple warehouse functions to ensure safe, efficient service delivery.
- Escalate and resolve operational issues with minimal disruption.
- Coordinate labour planning and resource allocation to meet targets.
- Monitor KPIs and implement efficiency and safety improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement projects and support Change initiatives.
