Job summary

COREcruitment represents a leading equipment supplier recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager in Northampton. You will own day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed, dispatched and returned safely in a fast-paced environment.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong team management, attention to detail and a focus on safety, process improvement and on-time delivery to events and venues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a warehouse operation in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience managing stock, inventory and warehouse systems.
• Hands-on, proactive approach to operational management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
• Motivate and develop the warehouse team, creating a high-performance and safety-focused culture.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch of equipment and products.
• Coordinate the movement of equipment in and out of the warehouse around busy event and exhibition schedules.
• Ensure all equipment is accurately checked, maintained, prepared and available when required.
• Manage stock levels and inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies and implementing improvements.
• Work closely with Operations, Logistics, Sales and Project teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered on time.
• Plan warehouse resources around peaks in demand, ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved.
• Implement and maintain robust warehouse processes, systems and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehouse efficiency, productivity and utilisation.
• Ensure full compliance with H&S, manual handling, storage and warehouse procedures.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and provide regular performance reporting to senior management.
• Manage relationships with transport and logistics partners where required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional warehouse environment.
