Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operation.
• Motivate and develop the warehouse team with a safety-focused culture.
• Oversee receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch of equipment and products.
• Coordinate movement of equipment around busy event and exhibition schedules.
• Ensure all equipment is checked, maintained, prepared and available when required.
• Manage stock levels and inventory accuracy; identify discrepancies and implement improvements.
• Work with Operations, Logistics, Sales and Project teams to meet customer deadlines.
• Plan warehouse resources around peak demand and ensure deadlines are met.
• Implement and maintain robust warehouse processes, systems and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement across warehouse efficiency and utilisation.
• Ensure full compliance with H&S, manual handling, storage and procedures.
• Monitor warehouse KPIs and report performance to senior management.
• Manage relationships with transport and logistics partners.

They are seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager join their team. The successful Warehouse Operations Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring products and equipment are received, stored, picked, dispatched and returned efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where speed, accuracy, organisation and customer service are critical.

The Ideal Warehouse Operations Manager Candidate:

• Proven experience managing a warehouse operation and leading a team, ideally within events, exhibitions, equipment hire, logistics, manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience managing stock, inventory and warehouse systems.
• A hands-on, proactive approach to operational management.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• The ability to prioritise effectively and remain calm under pressure.
• A strong understanding of warehouse health & safety requirements.
