Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager for a leading equipment supplier in the UK. The role leads day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of equipment with a focus on speed, accuracy and service.

You will manage and develop the warehouse team, drive continuous improvement, maintain health and safety standards and work with cross-functional teams to meet event schedules and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day-to-day warehouse operation, ensuring smooth workflows.
• Motivate and develop the warehouse team, fostering a high-performance, safety-focused culture.
• Oversee receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading and dispatch of equipment and products.
• Coordinate movement of equipment around busy events and exhibitions.
• Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and available when required.
• Manage stock levels and inventory accuracy; address discrepancies.
• Work with Operations, Logistics, Sales and Projects to meet customer timelines.
• Plan resources around peak demand and deadlines.
• Implement and maintain robust warehouse processes and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, productivity and utilisation.
• Ensure compliance with H&S and storage procedures.
• Monitor KPIs and report to senior management.
• Manage relationships with transport and logistics partners.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse environment.
