Job summary

Glan Clwyd Hospital in Bodelwyddan, North Wales, is seeking an experienced nurse for a Band 6 role in Ward 1. This permanent, full-time post involves leading a busy nursing team and delivering high-quality patient care.

You will be required to manage ward operations, uphold clinical standards, and collaborate across disciplines to improve outcomes for older adults. Welsh language ability is desirable; sponsorship applies to non-UK nationals as per UK requirements.

Qualifications

• NMC registration is required for practice in the UK.
• Experience at Band 5 level is essential for this Band 6 post.
• Substantial clinical experience is expected for leadership duties.
• Knowledge of Band 6 responsibilities and scope is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are welcome.
• Lead and manage ward activities to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Support and supervise junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
