Job summary

CoreTech Security in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Vulnerability Researcher to join a world-class team of developers and researchers. You will reverse engineer binaries, audit code, and develop novel tools to enable cutting-edge vulnerability research for cyber security clients.

The role requires a passion for cyber security, familiarity with reverse engineering tooling (Ghidra/IDA), and strong knowledge of Linux internals and mobile OS platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in reverse engineering and vulnerability research.
• Familiarity with ARM/AARCH64, x86/x64 or MIPS.
• Experience with Linux and mobile OS internals (Android/iOS).
• Ethical hacking with web and network tech familiarity.
• Knowledge of exploitation techniques and mitigations.
• Experience with Linux and its internals.
• Experience with Android or iOS and its internals.
• Strong C/C++ language skills.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer binaries and identify security flaws.
• Develop and apply novel tools and techniques for vulnerability research.
• Audit C/C++ sources for security flaws.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to deliver results.
• Produce proof-of-concept exploits or mitigations as needed.
• Create niche, real-world security solutions.
