Job summary

Hackajob Ltd is seeking a vulnerability researcher to join a world-class security team focused on cutting-edge research for UK clients. The role covers Android/Linux/iOS reverse engineering, code auditing, and tool development.

You'll work with ARM, x86 and MIPS architectures using Ghidra or IDA Pro, contributing to real-world security fixes and novel techniques. Strong C/C++ skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bug hunting, ethical hacking or reverse engineering background.

  • Familiarity with IDA Pro or Ghidra.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand how Android devices work from apps to kernel.
  • Reverse engineer proprietary binaries using ARM, ARM64, and MIPS.
  • Audit C and C++ source code to spot security flaws.
  • Develop novel tools and techniques for vulnerability research.
  • Work with other vulnerability researchers and software engineers.
  • Design and produce niche solutions with real-world impact.
  • Produce proof-of-concepts in C, C++, Python or assembly.

You will join a world-class team of developers and vulnerability researchers focused on delivering bespoke products and research for some of the most interesting cyber security clients in the UK.
