Job summary

CoreTech Security’s Cheltenham office is seeking a junior vulnerability researcher for a September 2027 start. You’ll join a world-class team focused on low-level security research, reversing binaries with Ghidra, and developing PoCs in C, C++, Python or assembly.

Graduate salary is £38,000 with a structured CoreTech Academy, relocation support, ongoing training, and a strong benefits package including private healthcare, pension, and regular pay reviews.

Qualifications

• Interest in software vulnerabilities in binaries, exploits and mitigations work.
• Experience with Reverse Engineering code using architectures such as ARM/AArch64, x86 or MIPS.
• Familiarity with Operating System internals and working in a command shell environment.
• Familiarity with C and/or C++ programming.
• Experience in basic scripting using Python.
• A basic understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts.
• A passion for technology and a genuine interest in solving difficult and complex problems.
• This is a Junior level role starting in September 2027 – you may be a recent graduate or someone that has some work experience and active interest in the area of Vulnerability Research.
