Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a senior/ principal Architect to own end-to-end vision system architecture across sensor, ISP, CV/ML, and application layers. You will translate UX requirements into scalable technical solutions and define image quality strategies aligned with AI goals.

You will drive modular CV/ML frameworks, guide SoC bring-up, set KPIs, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready consumer imaging products.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years in imaging/vision/perception systems.
• Proven experience architecting and shipping consumer vision/AI products.
• Deep understanding of imaging pipeline, ISP, and tuning impact.
• Strong embedded system architecture experience.
• Expert-level C++ and system-level optimization.
• Experience with heterogeneous compute architectures and SoCs.
• Ability to define KPIs and validation strategies.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end vision system architecture (sensor → ISP → CV/ML → app).
• Translate product/UX requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define image quality strategy aligned with AI/UX goals.
• Architect reusable CV/ML frameworks across product SKUs.
• Drive trade-offs across performance, power, cost, and thermal limits.
• Define AI model lifecycle from training to OTA deployment.
• Architect heterogeneous compute utilization (CPU/GPU/NPU/DSP).
• Define system KPIs: latency, FPS, power, memory, boot time.
• Lead technology selection for inference engines, frameworks, hardware.
• Guide SoC bring-up and vision pipeline validation.
• Establish coding standards and long-term maintainability.
• Identify risks early and define mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with hardware, ISP, Android/Linux teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and provide architectural governance.
• Contribute to long-term AI roadmap.
