Job summary

Mous is seeking a Senior Manager - Editor to lead and grow our editing team while staying hands-on with high-priority content. This player-manager role balances personal craft with coaching and orchestration of a fast-moving pipeline across channels, including paid social, organic, YouTube, ecommerce, and Amazon.

You will oversee a remote team, partner with strategy and production, and shape how the function scales as volume increases, maintaining high creative standards and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of editing across both short-form and long-form content.
• Experience managing or mentoring other editors.
• Proven track record editing performance content with hooks and retention.

Responsibilities

• Lead the editing team, allocate workload, and run development plans.
• Personally edit high-priority content while guiding the team’s craft.
• Own the editing pipeline end-to-end for a high-volume, multi-project workload.
• Analyze performance data and drive iteration on edits for better hooks and retention.
• Collaborate with content production, design, and creative strategy teams.
