Caliber8 Pte Ltd is seeking a Vessel Operator in Singapore to manage daily commercial operations of dry bulk vessels traded worldwide. You will support the GM/Manager in safe, efficient voyage execution, coordinating with vessels, owners, charterers and agents, and handling post-fixture matters.

The role involves planning voyages, monitoring performance and fuel use, and contributing to energy efficiency and alternative-fuel initiatives. Strong Veson IMOS and MS Office skills are essential.

Competenze

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in dry bulk vessel operations.
• Hands-on Veson IMOS voyage accounting experience.
• Good understanding of charter party terms and voyage execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong numerical skills.

Mansioni

• Manage end-to-end vessel and voyage operations in line with charter parties and contracts.
• Coordinate with vessels, owners, charterers, brokers, port agents and offices to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan voyages including cargo intake, bunkers, port rotation, speed and routing.
• Issue voyage instructions, appoint port agents and arrange bunkers.
• Handle post-fixture matters: invoicing, hire statements and payment monitoring.
• Calculate laytime, demurrage, despatch and performance claims where applicable.
• Monitor speed and fuel use; coordinate efficiency improvements.
• Prepare voyage estimates, analysis and P&L; monitor operating costs.
• Maintain voyage accounting records in Veson IMOS (invoices, AR/AP).
• Support RightShip assessments, surveys, nominations and vetting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on energy efficiency and alternative fuels.
• Assist with operational projects and other duties as assigned.
