Job summary

Sinclair Group, a Wales-based Skoda retailer in Newport, seeks a Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair and service the full range of Brand products. You will also conduct road tests and mentor apprentices as required, contributing to high standards of workmanship.

The ideal candidate has NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent and strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and customers. Training and career progression are a key focus at Sinclair Group.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent (BTEC or City & Guilds).
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and customers.
• Commitment to maintaining product and brand knowledge through training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service the full range of Brand products.
• Undertake vehicle road testing and ensure proper parts handling and storage.
• Coach and mentor apprentices as required.
