Job summary

Sinclair Group is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for Jaguar Land Rover Newport. The role is full-time and on-site with an eight-thirty to five schedule and a Saturday rota. Salary ranges from £28,000 to £45,000 OTE, depending on experience, with a pension and extensive staff benefits.

Join a premium automotive brand and work in a modern workshop. You will diagnose, service and repair JLR vehicles, perform road tests, and support apprentices and junior technicians as part of a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Repair, or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Be able to carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Be committed to maintaining and developing your technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in a modern workshop.
• Carry out vehicle road testing and ensure quality checks.
• Handle and store parts correctly and contribute to workshop efficiency.
• Support the development of apprentices and junior technicians when needed.
