Job summary

Vertu Ford Stoke is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair customer vehicles to a high standard. This 40-hour week (Mon-Fri) and a rotating 1 in 3 Saturdays position offers a competitive base salary and a bonus up to £5,000.

Applicants should have a relevant automotive qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ3 or equivalent), current vehicle technician experience, their own tools, and a full UK driving licence.

A basic salary of £40,000+ up to £5,000 bonus

At Vertu Ford Stoke we're looking for an experienced Service and Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our team. We're offering a basic salary of£40,000depending on skills and experience, plus a bonus opportunity of up to £5,000.

You'll work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday and working 1 in 3 saturdays.

Whether you're currently working for a franchised dealership or an independent garage, we'd love to hear from you.

The role:

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing our customers' vehicles to a high standard.

You'll work efficiently to agreed timeframes while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship. Productivity, attention to detail and achieving a first-time fix will all be important parts of the role.

What we're looking for:

You’ll need:

• A relevant automotive qualification, ideally City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
• Current experience working as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
