Job summary

Vertu Ford West Bromwich is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair customer vehicles to a high standard. The role offers a basic salary of £37,000 with a bonus potential up to £5,000, and a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with 1 in 3 Saturdays.

You will receive full manufacturer training, EV and electrical training, a generous benefits package, and opportunities across Vertu Motors’ 190+ locations.

Qualifications

• Current experience as Vehicle Technician.
• A relevant automotive qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3) or equivalent.
• Own set of tools and full UK driving licence.

• Work efficiently to agreed timeframes and achieve first-time fix.
• Follow safety guidelines and manufacturer procedures.

A basic salary of £37,000 + up to £5,000 bonus

At Vertu Ford West Bromwich we're looking for an experienced Service and Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join our team.

We're offering a basic salary of £37,000 depending on skills and experience, plus a bonus opportunity of up to £5,000.

You’ll work a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday and working 1 in 3 saturdays.

Whether you're currently working for a franchised dealership or an independent garage, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing our customers' vehicles to a high standard.

You’ll work efficiently to agreed timeframes while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship. Productivity, attention to detail and achieving a first-time fix will all be important parts of the role.

You’ll Need

• A relevant automotive qualification, ideally City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
• Current experience working as a Vehicle Technician
• Your own set of tools
• A full UK driving licence
